Pieces of Raoul is an app and part of the digital exhibition and city tour about Raoul Wallenbergs life and deeds.
The story is narrated by Raouls sister Nina Lagergrens granddaughter Cecilia Åhlberg.
In the app, the listener gets to share Raouls story from his childhood years on Riddargatan to his brave deed during the Holocaust.
After taking part in the exhibition, the listener can take a stand on various issues, reflect on their civil courage and their own history.Pieces of Raoul was developed by the Raoul Wallenberg Academy with the aim of preserving the memory of Raoul Wallenbergs deeds and reminding that every human being can make a difference to fellow human beings, in the big as well as in the small.
The app is part of the first exhibition to be presented within the Raoul Wallenberg Center.
Elements of sound, music, visuals and augmented reality are used to enhance the experience and increase the understanding and importance of civil courage - then as now as always.
The app includes five signs, each placed in different geographical locations in Stockholm that are connected to Raoul Wallenbergs life.
